Operations suspended on January 5 have resumed in Iraq. The New York Times first reported that anti-ISIS ops were resuming and that the US wants to work on getting training going again as well. Two US bases were struck by Iranian missiles since the US paused operations in the wake of the killing of General Qasem Soleimani. Yet ISIS presence continues in Iraq.
Separately Denmark has moved most of its forces from Ayn al-Assadto Kuwait due to the Iranian bombardment.
On January 15 Iraq carried out a strike in Hamrin killing8 ISIS members.
