A new report says ISIS struck an island in the Philippines.
The Guardian: “Five people including three soldiers were killed in a bombing targeting an elite army unit in the Philippines’s restive south, which Islamic State claimed was a suicide attack, authorities and experts said.”
ISIS had struck Marawi city in 2017. And earlier in 2019 it appeared that it was on a resurgence.
